Lavandin hydrosol is a floral water obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops of Lavandula × intermedia.
Rich in oxygenated monoterpenes, it combines aromatic gentleness and functional efficacy.
It offers soothing, purifying and relaxing properties validated by scientific data.
A TRULY FRENCH ORIGIN
Grown in France, the plants from our partner producers are distilled either in the Drôme Provençale (fixed distillery unit), or directly in the harvest field (mobile distillery unit), then packaged in
our warehouse in Isère.
Each batch is traced from the plot to the bottle, with analyses conducted by a French laboratory.
A LOCAL ALTERNATIVE
This locally grown plant can represent a relevant alternative to certain exotic hydrosols.
Despite their natural origin, these can have a significant environmental impact (deforestation, pressure on biodiversity, carbon-intensive transport).
Voici un exemple :
Damask Rose distinguishes itself through its superior antioxidant action, while Lavandin excels as a skin tonic,
less costly and suited to combination skin.
Please note: Each essential oil and hydrosol has a unique identity, and the same plant can vary depending on its origin. The equivalences proposed here do not aim to fully replace exotic plants, but to explore complementary alternatives based on your needs.
Cette comparaison s’inscrit dans une démarche de valorisation du Made in France, tout en encourageant une utilisation responsable des huiles issues d’écosystèmes fragiles comme le Tea Tree ou l’Ylang-Ylang.
