Derived from the steam distillation of the flowering tops of Origanum majorana,

The marjoram hydrosol is distinguished by its calming, antispasmodic and digestive properties,

Offering a gentle floral water suited to sensitive skin while promoting nervous relaxation and gastrointestinal comfort.

A TRULY FRENCH ORIGIN

Grown in France, the plants from our partner producers are distilled either in the Drôme Provençale (fixed distillery unit), or directly in the harvest field (mobile distillery unit), then packaged in
our warehouse in Isère.

Each batch is traced from the plot to the bottle, with analyses conducted by a French laboratory.

A LOCAL ALTERNATIVE

This locally grown plant can represent a relevant alternative to certain exotic hydrosols.

Despite their natural origin, these can have a significant environmental impact (deforestation, pressure on biodiversity, carbon-intensive transport).

Voici un exemple :

Plant: Damask Rose
Origin: Bulgaria, Turkey
Comparison:

Rose hydrosol shares the soothing effect of marjoram on stress, but distinguishes itself through a more marked astringent action, while marjoram offers more pronounced gentleness, ideal for reactive skin.

Please note: Each essential oil and hydrosol has a unique identity, and the same plant can vary depending on its origin. The equivalences proposed here do not aim to fully replace exotic plants, but to explore complementary alternatives based on your needs.

Cette comparaison s’inscrit dans une démarche de valorisation du Made in France, tout en encourageant une utilisation responsable des huiles issues d’écosystèmes fragiles comme le Tea Tree ou l’Ylang-Ylang.
